About The Position
This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas. The Barista will also be responsible for taking customer orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive customer experience through excellent service and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.
- Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty.
- Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer payments.
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
- Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation.
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
