About The Position

Arlo Hotels, an independent lifestyle hotel, is actively seeking dynamic Baristas. The ideal candidate is passionate about people, driven by purpose, and clever in their approach. At Arlo, the goal is to create a sense of awe that leaves guests wanting more. As a barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly and accurately will ensure success. You will also be responsible for keeping your station and the larger establishment clean and stocked.

Requirements

Experience in a café or restaurant customer service environment.
Knowledgeable operating a keyboard and Point of Sale procedures.

Greet guests with a smile, and a positive and kind attitude.
Provide knowledgeable customer service that educates guests about our menu.
Prepare customers’ orders as requested accurately and efficiently.
Ring guest checks correctly.
Close the check to the proper method of payment (i.e., cash, credit card, or house charge).
Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and in the dining area.
Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality.
Assist with storage, stocking, and maintenance of all products.
