About The Position

Philz Baristas help build culture and community by creating warm, authentic, kind, positive, and passionate customer experiences. The role involves making drinks, preparing food orders, operating the register, and cleaning and stocking while working with a communicative, supportive, and respectful team. Baristas are expected to embody Philz’s core values: Obsess Over Customers & Team, In Pursuit of Better, and Be Kind & Keep it Real. No prior barista experience is required. Philz provides training to candidates who have a passion for people and a willingness to learn. Requirements

Passion for people.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to operate a variety of machines, tools, and equipment.
Visual acuity to make general observations regarding safety and accuracy of work.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 3 hours.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently and lift 3 pounds to shoulder height repetitively.
Ability to grasp, finger, and reach.
Ability to express or exchange information by means of the spoken word.
