Barista (Winter Seasonal)
About The Position
At the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, you would be based in our coffee shop, Braidwood Café, as well as supporting our restaurant, Braidwood Tavern. Braidwood Café is a grab-and-go outlet that bustles in the morning hours as guests get ready for a day on the mountain. As a Full Time Barista, you’ll prepare food and beverage service with consistency, attention to detail and care. The role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, has a high level of detail and has dedication to serve our guests. You’ll balance high service volume with a strong commitment to execute quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a barista
- Strong command of the English language
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork
- Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
- Valid work authorization for Canada
Responsibilities
- Make custom coffees, tea, hot cocoa etc
- Heat and sell breakfast pastries and sandwiches in addition to retail items.
- Prepare the Café for open and close, stock material and clean the area.
