About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality and presentation. You help keep operations running smoothly by organizing and maintaining a clean, safe workspace, restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment and service areas are ready for use. You collaborate with team members, particularly during busy periods, and serve customers by greeting them, taking orders, answering questions, and responding to requests. The role involves working in a fast-paced setting and requires standing for extended periods, moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperature environments. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Prior food service or customer service experience is preferred. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and respond to customer questions and requests.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing service demands.
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
