About The Position

As an on-call Barista at Starbucks inside Mandalay Place, you will create exceptional guest experiences through friendly customer service and quality beverages in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This on-call role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with guests, multitasking, and creating memorable experiences as part of a dynamic team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience as a food handler in a similar environment preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu
• Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
• Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
