Badass Coffee of Hawaii is hiring Full-Time Baristas to join the team at our McKinney location. We are searching for experienced, outgoing Baristas who will contribute to enhancing our community and help to foster an environment of hospitality, warmth, and fun for our customers and staff. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
Must be able to work weekends
Upbeat and energetic
Ability to provide a positive customer encounter every time
Ability to work on a team and autonomously
Food Handler’s certificate or ability to obtain one within first 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

Deliver the Aloha spirit in each customer and team interaction
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as hot and cold coffee, espresso drinks, and teas
Champion menu items to customers and provide product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions
Cashier duties including processing customer payments
Maintain a sanitary environment by cleaning and sanitizing all work and service areas, utensils, and equipment
Ensure proper functioning of all equipment and adequate stock of supplies and retail products
Practice quality service and safety standards; comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations
Be a team player by exhibiting good communication, organizational, and time management skills
Assist with food orders
Begin every interaction with a smile and a genuine greeting – Aloha
Close every interaction with a smile and a Thank You – Mahalo
Add a “kick” – that little something special to make each customer interaction memorable
Monitor product levels and stock as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, back bar area, and kitchen
Other duties as assigned
