About The Position

The Big Easy Casino is seeking a Full-Time Barista to join their team in Hallandale Beach, FL. The Barista will be responsible for greeting guests, processing payments, taking and preparing customer orders, and cashing customers out. This role requires multitasking, assisting team members, and answering customer inquiries. The Barista will also manage inventory of pastries, coffee, tea, and other supplies, and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of coffee equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of previous experience working as a Cashier
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong cash handling experience
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be flexible to work required department hours

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of previous Barista experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Processes payments, handles all cash and credit transactions
• Takes customer orders, prepares orders and cashes customers out
• Multi-tasks several orders at once
• Assists team members when not busy
• Answers general customer inquiries as needed
• Order and maintain levels of pastries, coffee, tea, and other supplies needed
• Proper cleaning and maintaining of coffee machines and coffee pots
• All other duties as needed
