About The Position

As a Barista, each day brings a variety of tasks centered on preparing quality beverages and creating a positive customer experience. You’re the perfect blend of efficiency and friendliness—crafting coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items using established recipes and procedures while maintaining consistency and presentation. From the first cup to the last, your focus helps keep quality steady throughout the day. A perk of the role is staying active and engaged. You’ll organize and maintain a clean, safe work area, restock supplies, and ensure equipment and service areas are ready for continuous use. You’ll collaborate with team members to keep workflow moving smoothly, especially during busy periods when timing and coordination matter most. Customer interaction is a key part of the role; you’ll greet customers, take orders, answer questions, and help make each visit a positive experience. Whether it’s a regular stopping by or a new customer exploring the menu, your consistency, attention to detail, and approachable service help create an environment customers want to return to.

Requirements

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide friendly, timely, and helpful service while following up on customer requests and questions
• Beverage Preparation Knowledge: Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately to maintain quality and consistency
• Organization & Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Food Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and with others to drive daily operations
• Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with changing service demands
• Technical & Equipment Use: Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment following established guidelines
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items of varying weight up to 50lbs, and work in varying temperature environments
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
