About The Position
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Barista to join our food service team. The Barista will prepare quality coffee and specialty beverages while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced campus café environment.
Requirements
- Previous barista, coffee shop, or customer service experience preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to learn beverage recipes and preparation techniques
- Ability to operate an espresso machine and other coffee equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages
- Follow recipes and proper portion standards for all beverages
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Greet customers and take orders accurately
- Operate the POS system and process customer transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station
- Restock coffee, cups, lids, syrups, milk, and other supplies
- Prepare grab-and-go food and beverage items as needed
- Clean and sanitize espresso machines, equipment, counters, and work areas
- Monitor product quality and freshness
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Assist other team members as needed
