About The Position
The Barista creates a welcoming customer experience by preparing and serving quality coffee, tea, beverages, and food items while providing friendly, efficient service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous chain food, beverage, or retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Must meet company security clearance requirements.
- Ability to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, beverages, and food items according to standards.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to customer needs.
- Operate the register, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready work areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and security procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, hotel services, and local area information.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
