About The Position

Provides customers with exceptional service, handcrafted coffee and tea beverages and food, in a clean, comfortable and welcoming store environment. This is a part-time position with 25-30 hours per week, available at our Oakland Location. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, with an occasional Saturday.

Requirements

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Available to work flexible hours which may include; early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
An ability to multitask and problem solve
An ability to work as part of a team with a positive, energetic and resourceful attitude
Punctuality, reliability
Must be able to stand for hours at a time
Occasional lifting of 5-25 lb. boxes
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience, in fast paced setting preferred.
Barista experience with demonstrated proficiency in coffee and espresso preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly, personalized and professional manner
Create and maintain a comfortable, clean and welcoming environment for coworkers and customers
Prepare handcrafted, quality beverages and products by adhering to Tazza D’oro and SCAA standards
Develop a deep knowledge and can speak on various store products, answer customers inquiries and make suggestions
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
