About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare quality beverages and other menu items using established recipes and procedures while maintaining consistency and presentation. You help keep the work area clean, safe, and organized, restock supplies, and ensure equipment and service areas are ready for use. You work with team members to maintain smooth operations, particularly during busy periods. You also greet customers, take orders, answer questions, and help provide a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service.
• Follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Be familiar with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and collaboratively.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing service demands.
• Safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food service or customer service experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
