About The Position

Salt City Coffee is looking for a dedicated and reliable barista to join the team at our original cafe location on a part-time basis. Ideal applicants will be able to work 4 to 5 days per week on an ongoing basis. Thursday & weekend availability is required. Availability should fall between the hours of 6:30am-4pm. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee beverages and food items, providing consistently great customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
Reliability & dependability!
Curiosity about the science of coffee and willingness to learn and hone new skills
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and creative with a passion for creating high-quality products
Cooperative team player who works well with all different types of people and likes making their coworkers look good!
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks and food items with precision and care
Guide guests through our menu and make recommendations based on their preferences and your expertise
Provide friendly and efficient customer service at all times
Maintain a spotless and organized work environment, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks
