About The Position

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is seeking a Barista. This role is integral to the hotel's success, requiring a hands-on approach to guest satisfaction and service team stewardship to create positive first and lasting impressions. The Barista will be responsible for assisting guests with food and coffee/beverage orders in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Strong guest service orientation.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Unafraid of food and beverage related tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift and carry 10lbs-20lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting guest's food and coffee/beverage orders.
• Maintaining a well-organized area and restocking stations as needed.
