Maintaining sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils is crucial, as is ensuring proper food preparation using approved recipes. The Barista keeps display equipment clean, cleans their workstation thoroughly, greets customers courteously, and serves them quickly and efficiently. They must understand daily menu items to explain them to customers, advocate selling techniques, and ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively.
