About The Position

La Boulangerie is currently hiring for an enthusiastic Barista to join our Front of House team! Our ideal candidate is professional, energetic, and has a basic knowledge of beverage service. Link Restaurant Group was founded by James Beard Award winning executive Chef Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski, with the goal to support the continuous growth of their family of restaurants in New Orleans. Currently that includes Herbsaint, Cochon, Cochon Butcher, Peche Seafood Grill, Gianna, La Boulangerie and Calcasieu Private Dining. Growing up in south Louisiana taught Chef Link about the importance of traditions and the regions unique flavors, which helped define their guiding philosophy to produce honest, simple food. La Boulangerie is looking for passionate individuals who love food and have a genuine heart for hospitality! We are a charming neighborhood bakery and caf é that is known for our handcrafted pastries, breads, and delicious sandwiches made from locally sourced products. We are a great place to meet up with neighbors and friends to sit and relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the neighborhood vibe.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar high-volume establishment
• 2+ years of experience is preferred
• Must have a personable demeanor and friendly personality

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and accepting orders and payments
• Prepare beverage items
• Establish consistent communication with FOH, BOH, and management
• Provide attentive service while anticipating needs
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization
• Build and maintain good rapport with regular customers
• Offer menu insight and recommendations when appropriate
