About The Position

The Barista creates a warm, welcoming customer experience and helps make meaningful connections through each interaction. The role involves working in a fast-paced store environment, engaging with customers, and preparing beverages and food to Starbucks standards or customizing them to customer requests. Baristas may perform a variety of tasks during each shift and must follow store operating, cash-handling, safety, and security standards. No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepare beverages and food according to standard recipes, including customer-requested changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredients.
• Provide quality beverages and food products while following store operating policies and standards.
• Handle cash and follow store safety and security standards.
• Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
