About The Position

This role provides counter service to guests through taking verbal requests for beverages and food and accommodating the expediting of such requests. Including any special needs or requests through using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; provide items to the guest at the counter or table in a timely manner. while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of food service or related work, previous barista experience preferred.
• Coffee, tea and food knowledge.
• Strong commitment to service and the guest experience.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and possess the ability to work autonomously.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Have the ability to describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Accommodate guest orders, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist with daily inventory and ordering and stock food and beverage and paper supplies.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
