About The Position

Our Barista role is a key part of the café experience at Frasier. In this role, you’ll prepare espresso beverages and café items while helping create a space that is warm, organized, and welcoming for residents, guests, and team members. You’ll play an important role in daily interactions that make Frasier feel like home.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Clear, respectful communication with residents, guests, and team members
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided)
  • Comfort learning point-of-sale systems and handling basic transactions

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous barista, food service, or customer-facing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a Welcoming Café Experience: Greet residents, guests, and coworkers warmly and professionally. Provide timely, accurate beverage and food service. Build familiarity with regular guests and their preferences.
  • Prepare Beverages & Café Items: Prepare espresso drinks and café food items using standardized recipes. Maintain quality, presentation, and portion standards. Support catering or special café service needs as assigned.
  • Maintain a Clean, Organized Environment: Keep café equipment, workstations, and service areas clean and organized. Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards. Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks using checklists.
  • Support the Team: Replenish café supplies and condiments as needed. Assist fellow dining team members to keep operations running smoothly. Participate in peer-to-peer training with support from dining leadership.
