About The Position

This position is responsible for providing continuous, prompt, and courteous service to customers. The Barista will consistently prepare quality beverages, whole bean, and food products by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. They will follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and incorporate safe work practices into their job performance. The role involves operating the POS system, handling multiple transactions, preparing daily sales reports, and interacting positively with customers. The Barista will also assist other front staff as needed, work and communicate effectively with other departments, vendors, and customers, and comply with all policies and regulations. Reporting and documenting unusual occurrences and attending mandatory trainings are also key aspects of the role.

  • Must be 18 at time of hire.
  • Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.

  • Must have Serv Safe Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provides continuous, prompt, and courteous service to customers.
  • Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance and complies with safety practices.
  • Operates POS system in processing food and beverage charges.
  • Handles multiple transactions with cash, credit cards, coupons, vouchers, comps, etc.
  • Prepares daily sales reports and reconciliation statement for the vault.
  • Interacts positively with customers by inquiring about their dining experience, satisfaction, answering any questions and providing casino information either in person or via telephone.
  • Assists all other front staff when the need arises by bussing, cashiering, hosting, clearing, or setting tables, being a team player, etc.
  • Effectively works and communicates with other departments, vendors, customers to resolve problems and expedite work or services.
  • Complies with all policies, procedures, rules, regulations, MICS.
  • Report and document all unusual occurrences.
  • Attend all mandatory trainings.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
  • All other duties as assigned.
