About The Position

The Crest Bistro is a restaurant located inside of the Crest Cadillac and Infiniti luxury car dealerships. We are committed to providing a top-notch customer experience and exceptional food. Immediate openings are available for an experienced, friendly, and energetic Barista to join our team!

Requirements

Food Handlers License required
Available to work part time or full time hours
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to build relationships

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service, cashier, or barista experience preferred
Previous serving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Manage transactions with customers using cash register
Collect payments & issue receipts or refunds
Maintain a clean and tidy café
Keep customer coffee bars & water stations refilled and stocked
Take customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen using POS
Greet customers
Utilize a balance sheet to keep track of cash transactions
Assist with events
Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
Other duties as assigned by company owner and executive chef
