About The Position

The Barista at Winstar World Casino & Resort is responsible for educating customers on products, answering questions about coffee blends and preparation, and providing fast, friendly, personalized service. This role involves accurately processing sales, serving food items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment, and a commitment to honest communication and positive relationships.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year experience in a high volume bar
• Excellent customer service
• Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services
• Answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness
• Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service
• Accurately rings sales orders into POS system and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner
• Develops an understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends
• Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed
• Other duties as assigned
