About The Position

River Kitty Cat Café is a fun environment where guests come for treats, drinks and visits with adoptable cats. Baristas are responsible for quality control on our food and drink items, serving guests in a professional and friendly matter, and keeping the café clean and organized. Our baristas must learn our menu, be polite, personable, and represent our organization with pride. Full Time or Part Time available. No previous barista experience is required but it is a plus. Must be 21+ to obtain a beer/wine server permit.

Requirements

• Consistent attendance and punctuality required
• 21 years or older preferred so server's permit can be acquired
• Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Follow written and verbal instruction for recipes and tasks
• Ability to Multitask
• Must be able to work as a part of a team
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with customers
• Must represent the VHS & River Kitty in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous barista experience is a plus
