About The Position
Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Barista for its Mercantile concept at DEN. The role is in an airport retail and dining environment and focuses on providing welcoming, first-class experiences for travelers. The Barista greets guests, takes food and drink orders, prepares beverages to established standards, operates and cleans coffee equipment, and processes payments while following cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures. Compensation is $19.29 plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take their drink and food orders within 30 seconds of entering the concept.
- Operate coffee-making equipment and dismantle and clean machinery as needed.
- Prepare and present beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Accurately total, process, and collect guest payments, including using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, process credit and debit card payments, and make change in compliance with cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
- Stay knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant’s menu and products.
- Create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
