About The Position

Baristas are responsible for ensuring that all customers are educated on our products and services. They answer customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness, and greet all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service. Baristas accurately ring sales orders into the POS system and count back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner. They develop an understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends, and sell and serve baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed is also a key responsibility. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year experience in a high volume bar.
• Excellent customer service

• Must be able to stand or walk for varying length of time.
• Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
