About The Position

The Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other food and beverage offerings. This role requires maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while ensuring all products are prepared according to company standards. The Barista interacts directly with guests, processes transactions accurately, and contributes to creating a positive and memorable guest experience.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills; able to speak English and interact professionally with guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Physically capable of lifting supplies, equipment, and product deliveries.
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Barista, Cashier, or in a food and beverage environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machines, and beverage recipes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional guest service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and service areas.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Operate POS system and process guest transactions accurately.
  • Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty beverages.
  • Take guest orders and answer menu-related questions.
  • Restock coffee supplies, cups, lids, syrups, and food items.
  • Clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and beverage equipment.
  • Prepare and package grab-and-go food items.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
  • Assist with inventory counts and product deliveries.
  • Attend department meetings and training sessions.
  • Support special events and promotional activities.
