About The Position

Sell concessions to customers at various events. The Barista will sell concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events. They will serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service. The Barista will interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, relaying relevant information to a supervisor. They will perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion, entering sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded. The Barista will make change, accept acceptable forms of payment, and issue receipts to customers, following standard procedures for cash handling. They will be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards. Additional duties include replenishing condiments and general supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the concession area. The Barista must ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned.
