About The Position

Creates a warm, welcoming, and engaging dining experience for residents and guests. Prepares and serves coffee, beverages, and light meals while providing exceptional customer service tailored to the needs of residents. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and respect for all.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or as a barista/server.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, Serve-Safe, HAACP standards, and infection control.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets.
• Ability to work effectively with older adults in a respectful and compassionate manner.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and operating a POS system.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special diets common among older adults.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
