About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Barista for The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining a clean and organized coffee station. The position is ideal for individuals who love coffee and creating memorable guest experiences, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy crafting quality beverages. The role requires open availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays, with opening shifts starting at 5:45 a.m. Extended shifts may be available on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a seasonal assignment expected to continue through January 9, 2027. Outstanding team members may be considered for future opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexible schedule with availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks.
- Deliver friendly, efficient, and personalized service to create an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
