Barista/Sales Associate
About The Position
Pillars Café is looking for a friendly and dependable Barista/Sales Associate to help create a warm, community-centered café experience for guests and church attendees. In this role, you’ll craft quality coffee and espresso drinks, serve light refreshments, and provide genuine hospitality that makes every guest feel seen and welcomed. You’ll help keep the café running smoothly by handling transactions accurately, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and supporting the team during busy services and special events. We’re looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a heart for teamwork. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and love serving others, this could be a great fit for you!
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and a collaborative team mindset
- Basic food safety knowledge and a current Food Handlers Card
- Adhere to the Statement of Faith, upholding biblical principles in all aspects of work and life.
- Be prepared to share the hope you have in Christ.
- As a representative of Christ, be ready to gently and respectfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ at all times.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with espresso machines or POS systems preferred
