About The Position

We currently have part-time job opportunities for Baristas/Attendants in our Post Market. The Post Market offers members grab-and-go style along with Starbucks coffee drinks, fresh juices, smoothies and a variety of pastries and snacks. This area, adjacent to the Gaslight Grill, is a hive of member activity. Our restaurants at Carmel offer our members multiple dining venues including indoor casual dining, indoor formal dining, outdoor casual dining and pub dining. This position may work in those areas of the Club, as well as Post Market.

Requirements

Requires a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of and follows food safety and sanitation practices
Team members are required to work evenings, holidays and weekends on a consistent basis
Must be at least 16 years of age to work at Carmel Country Club and have a youth certificate filed.

Nice To Haves

Prior barista experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to members
Selling coffee and tea blends, highlighting the differences between items and educating members about brewing methods
Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Operating the Point-of-Sale system accurately and efficiently
