About The Position

At Partners Coffee, we are dedicated to roasting quality coffee and serving our customers to the highest standard. Our ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and hospitality and enjoys a busy cafe environment. We aim to provide a great coffee experience for every guest. We are looking for a full-time Barista and/or Shift Lead to join our team at the Bedford Avenue cafe. The role requires excellent customer service, a strong interest in coffee, and a willingness to learn and improve through our education and training programs.

Requirements

• NYC Food Handlers card (for Shift Leads)
• The ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours
• Lift up to 30lbs
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Hear audible cues and taste coffee
• Engaged in repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• Is knowledgeable on health code and can run a DOH inspection

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service.
• Crafting beverages to our standard.
• Having a good working knowledge of our coffee offerings.
• Running shifts through delegation and deployment.
• Maintaining the cafe through busing tables, sweeping, and washing dishes.
