About The Position

Tufts Medical Center Community Care is seeking a full-time Bariatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of collaborative providers at our Tufts Medicine Weight & Wellness Center in Stoneham, MA. Join an established group of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners in the most comprehensive bariatric surgery program in the region. The ideal candidate will have experience with and/or a strong interest in bariatrics/weight management and be comfortable evaluating patients for metabolic conditions, creating customized treatment plans, and prescribing anti-obesity medications including GLP-1's in accordance with evidence-based protocols. About the role: You’ll be a valuable member of the care team alongside Physician and Advanced Practitioner colleagues, working to complete outpatient weight & wellness consults and care for patients. You’ll grow as a clinician as you learn from new colleagues. You’ll help advance the field of obesity medicine through innovation, quality improvement, and evidence-based care. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current license as a Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current certification in CPR required.
  • A team player who is excited to work alongside the interdisciplinary team to assist in patient care, support, and satisfaction.

  • Clinical experience in Bariatric Medicine/Weight Management is preferred.
