About The Position

The Bariatric Surgery Coordinator will coordinate and supervise all aspects of the Bariatric Program, including but not limited to: patient education, patient support group meetings, staff education, and coordination of patients’ surgery with hospital and physician office.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current PA license as a Registered Nurse
• Current certification in BLS
• Active Affiliate Member of ASBS

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Bariatric Surgery as offered by the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons
• Prior experience working with surgical and bariatric patients
• At least five (5) years of experience as a nurse, preferably in the area of application
