About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Bariatric Surgeons in Stockton, California, to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting. The position offers clinical autonomy and a weekday schedule without nights, weekends, or call. Physicians perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds, use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols, and follow patients through healing. Comprehensive wound care training is provided, and previous wound care experience is not required. Full-time and part-time options are available. Compensation is described as $250,000–$500,000 per year for full-time work, with no earning cap as an independent contractor; pay is per patient and per procedure, with quarterly bonus programs. Top performers may earn more than $500,000 through performance bonuses. Candidates must complete confidential pre-employment DiSC testing and appropriate relevant skills testing.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
Complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and appropriate relevant skills testing.
