About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon for a position in Georgetown, TX. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week (Part-time opportunities available). Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
  • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
  • Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
  • Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in wound management
