About The Position

Join the experienced team of Bariatric Medicine physicians in a busy outpatient practice at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). This department offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives and contribute to your professional development. The practice offers comprehensive multidisciplinary care including Registered Dietitians, Behavioral Health Therapists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and an Exercise Physiologist. Care is individualized to each patient with lab evaluation and specific tailored goals. A meal replacement program for high protein, streamlined portion-controlled program is utilized to achieve desired weight loss goals. Medications may be added as needed to support patients’ healthy habits and lifestyle changes to meet their health and wellness goals. The office environment is supportive, positive, and caring to help patients overcome their boundaries. In this role, you will experience both in-person and virtual care, with no holiday or call schedule. There is also an opportunity to teach medical students/residents.

Requirements

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience practicing Obesity Medicine preferred.
