About The Position

Probst Electric Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking an experienced Barehand Lineman to work in and around Texas on specialized energized transmission-line work. The role is suited to a safety-focused professional who takes pride in the trade, works well with a crew, and is committed to quality work on critical electrical infrastructure projects.

Probst Electric specializes in high-voltage transmission-line construction, design-build, and maintenance for public and private utilities. Its construction work includes transmission, distribution, drilling, underground, and renewables. Requirements

• Barehand or energized-line experience.
• At least 1 year of Journeyman Lineman experience.
• Current Quanta BH (Barehand) certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Required lineman training and qualifications for the role.
• A strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work at heights and travel or work extended schedules as needed.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• CDL, if required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform barehand work on energized transmission lines.
• Inspect and maintain lines, structures, and related equipment.
• Follow established work procedures, safety rules, and job briefings.
• Work effectively with crew members in changing field conditions.
