About The Position

The Stylist provides hair services and treatments that improve guests’ overall sense of well-being and enhance the club experience. Services may include haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling, with the goal of delivering services and products that exceed guests’ expectations.

The role provides individualized hair services, advises guests on products and care, maintains expertise in hair analysis and styling techniques, promotes salon offerings, keeps current with certifications and industry trends, and maintains workstations to salon standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of cosmetology school.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist.
• Cosmetology license in the state where the work is performed.
• Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a stylist in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of Salon Biz software.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized hair services and treatments that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
• Educate clients about LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to help them maintain their style.
• Serve as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens, while staying current in style and technique.
• Promote LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
• Remain current on certifications and new industry trends.
• Maintain workstations to salon standards.
