Floyd's 99 Barbershop is seeking a full-time Barber – Stylist for their Columbia, MD location. This role is for an artist, conversationalist, and vibe curator who can deliver top earnings through uncapped commission (40%-55%) or a guaranteed minimum wage, whichever is higher. Performance is rewarded weekly. The average hourly earnings for Barbers and Stylists range from $31 to $56.50. The Columbia location is situated near Merriweather Post Pavilion, The Mall in Columbia, and Lake Kittamaqundi, offering a vibrant environment. Requirements

• Active Maryland barber or cosmetology license
• Passion for customer service and bringing joy to others
• Strong work ethic and a motivation to do an excellent job
• Reliability, punctuality, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, and pull 25 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends and nights to meet client availability

Responsibilities

• Create bold cuts, color transformations, and classic shaves.
• Perform lather neck shaves and shoulder massages.
• Deliver the perfect fade.
• Ensure clients have a positive experience and return.
• Continuously improve skills.
