About The Position
We are looking for a Barback to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach. Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel. Under the general guidance of the Assistant Bar Manager, the Barback is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the bar by ensuring it is fully stocked, clean, and organized. This role is essential in maintaining a seamless service experience, upholding brand standards, and assisting the bar team in delivering exceptional hospitality to guests.
Requirements
- Support bartenders by restocking the bar with necessary supplies, including ice, garnishes, glassware, and alcohol.
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar by wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and disposing of trash.
- Assist in preparing garnishes and organizing mixers to ensure efficient service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management when supplies are running low.
- Help with setting up the bar for special events, including organizing cocktail supplies and ensuring the bar area is clean and ready for guests.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, including maintaining proper handling and storage of alcohol and perishables.
- Assist with closing duties, such as cleaning the bar area, organizing storage, and preparing for the next service.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
