About The Position

Alleycat Lounge is seeking a diligent and attentive part-time barback to collaborate with our team in delivering seamless service to our patrons. As a crucial support to our bartenders, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth operations at the bar. Your role will involve preparing garnishes, organizing glassware, prepping fresh syrups and juices, and assisting with various tasks to uphold our standards of service excellence in a fast-paced setting. A keen understanding of our menu, coupled with a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient operation of the bar by maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Ensure adequate 'mise-en-place' of glasses, drinks, ice, and fruit.
• Retrieve stock from the storeroom following established procedures.
• Support in conducting stock checks and inventories as needed.
• Maintain equipment in optimal condition through proper usage and care.
• Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly tidying the bar, service areas, and restrooms.
• Prep fresh syrups and juices.
• Provide assistance to bartenders and fellow team members during peak service periods.
