Requirements

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a Fine Dining setting
  • Able to handle difficult situations effectively
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and other supplies throughout their shift to ensure bartenders have everything they need to efficiently serve customers.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, cleaning glassware, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleanliness in storage areas.
  • Clean spills and ensure that the bar is presentable at all times.
  • Transport supplies to the bar set-up area.
  • Wash soiled glassware.
  • Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place in the designated area.
  • Assist bartenders during busy periods by fetching ingredients, preparing garnishes, and helping to serve drinks.
  • Ensure that bar equipment, such as blenders, ice machines, and glassware, is clean and in working order.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Secure liquor, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas at the end of every closing shift.
  • Complete closing duties.
  • Prepare a daily purchasing list to maintain a healthy inventory level as directed by the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the supervisor.
