About The Position

Evermore Orlando Resort is redefining the Orlando vacation experience with its expansive 1,100-acre property, offering a unique blend of upscale vacation homes, flats, villas, and the luxurious Conrad hotel. Situated near Walt Disney World®, Evermore provides guests with the space and comfort of vacation rentals combined with world-class resort amenities. The resort features Evermore Bay, an 8-acre crystal-clear lagoon with a sandy beach, swim zones, bars, cabanas, and firepits. Dining options include beachside bars, a food hall, and rooftop dining. Recreational activities include two championship golf courses, water sports, a family waterslide, rope swing, pickleball, bocce ball, and volleyball. The resort aims to be a paradise for guests seeking relaxation and unique experiences between theme park visits.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hospitality and barback or related experience, customer service focus
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Willingness to learn and take directions from bartenders and other Team Members.
  • Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner.
  • Assist bartenders in setting up the bar for service, including stocking liquor, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies.
  • Communicate with Front of House Team Members to ensure consistent guest service and needs are met.
  • Prepare and deliver ice to bartenders as needed and ensure ice bins are kept clean and well-maintained.
  • Monitor and replenish the inventory of beverage and bar-related items during service to prevent shortages.
  • Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and utensils in accordance with hygiene standards.
  • Remove empty glasses, used napkins, and other debris from bar tops and tables to maintain a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Assist with the preparation of garnishes and other drink ingredients as directed by bartenders.
  • Collaborate with bartenders to fulfill guest drink orders promptly and accurately.
  • Collect used glassware and utensils for washing and return cleaned items to the bar.
  • Empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Support bartenders in providing exceptional guest service, including refilling water glasses, and assisting with guest inquiries when necessary.
  • Ensure that glassware, bar tools, and equipment are clean and in good working condition.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns gracefully, seeking solutions to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Verify the legal drinking age of guests and refuse service to those who are underage or intoxicated.
  • Recognize signs of intoxication and handle situations appropriately.
  • Collaborate with other staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient bar operation.
  • Assist in training new barbacks and staff, if required.
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Complete side work as assigned.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
