Their Global Attractions division focuses on creating unrivaled guest experiences with deep sales and planning methodologies, operating over 10 attractions globally. View Boston, located in the Prudential Tower, features immersive exhibits, a bistro, a cocktail lounge with a 360-degree viewing deck, and indoor viewing spaces. It is designed as an attraction for locals and visitors, offering interactive experiences and a place for socializing. The Barback role is responsible for providing supplies and assisting bartenders to ensure exceptional guest service in the restaurant environment.

Requirements

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English Language to communicate with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to work all View Boston events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Must have 2-3 years working in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Stocking bar items daily and filling ice bins as needed.
• Anticipating needs throughout the shift.
• Assisting in keeping all areas clean and organized.
• Reporting timely to work and prepared to start at the starting time.
• Knowing the work area and setting up as directed.
• Abiding by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
• Ensuring prompt, quality service is provided.
• Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from Management as needed.
