The Barback is responsible for helping the bartender in the daily operation of the restaurant bar. This role requires adherence to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. The Barback must actively participate in the team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort. Participation in all resort required meetings and trainings is expected. Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag, is essential. The Barback is responsible for stocking all liquor, beer, and wine at the Banquet Bar and must adhere to the Restaurant schedule at all times. Maintaining the cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas in an organized manner is a key duty. Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensures bartenders are set up for success. Replenishing all liquor, beer, and wine as needed in the bar during the shift is required. Familiarity with beverages, cocktails, and resort pouring standards is necessary. Assisting in opening and closing side-work as assigned, following resort protocols on responsible serving, and assisting with food service if required are also part of the role. Reporting any broken or damaged equipment and ensuring overall guest satisfaction are critical. The Barback must abide by all resort policies and safety rules and perform other duties as requested by management.
