About The Position

The Food Runner / Barback is an essential member of the front‑of‑house team, supporting both dining and bar operations to ensure a seamless and elevated experience for members and their guests. This role requires a polished, service‑driven individual who thrives in a refined, fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding club standards while contributing to The Medallion Club experience.

Requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to excel in a high‑volume, detail‑oriented setting
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service is a plus

Responsibilities

Deliver food from the kitchen to members and guests with accuracy, proper timing, and adherence to presentation standards
Ensure all dishes meet club quality expectations before leaving the kitchen
Communicate effectively with chefs and service staff regarding modifications, allergies, and timing
Assist servers by clearing, resetting, and maintaining clean, organized tables
Support fine dining service standards, including pacing awareness and member preference recognition
Maintain full stock of spirits, wine, beer, garnishes, mixers, and glassware
Anticipate bartender needs to ensure efficient, uninterrupted service
Change kegs, refill ice, polish glassware, and restock inventory throughout service
Maintain a clean, organized, and polished bar environment
Assist with opening and closing procedures in accordance with club standards
Provide attentive, discreet, and professional service at all times
Maintain a polished appearance consistent with club grooming standards
Demonstrate urgency while remaining composed and member‑focused
Anticipate member needs and respond proactively
Uphold the club’s culture of hospitality, respect, and excellence
