About The Position

It is the responsibility of a bartender to prepare and serve consistent, high-quality cocktails and food in an expedient manner, while establishing positive guest relations and maintaining a clean, orderly bar. The bar chef contributes to the profitability of the restaurant by generating sales, adhering to all company recipes and ensuring correct payment for all beverages served. It is the responsibility of a bar prep to assist the bar team in their daily operations to ensure the bar operates smoothly. This includes, but not limited to, assisting with opening and closing duties, cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked and taking on other duties to support the Bar team. Bar preps are knowledgeable about our menu items, attentive, and focused on providing extraordinary server pin a fast-paced environment.It is the responsibility of our prep cooks to prepare a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. Portions, washes, peels, slices, and mixes vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients from entrees appetizers, salads, and garnishes. Carves and slices meats and cheese. Measure and mixes ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items following recipes.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 32-38 hours per week
  • Must be able to lift 50+lbs

Responsibilities

  • Assist the bar team in their daily operations to ensure the bar operates smoothly.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Clean the bar.
  • Prepare garnishes.
  • Ensure the bar is well stocked.
  • Take on other duties to support the Bar team.
  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers.
  • Portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients from entrees appetizers, salads, and garnishes.
  • Carve and slice meats and cheese.
  • Measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items following recipes.
  • Meets company quality standards in preparation and presentation of cocktails.
  • Achieves planned product costs by adhering to portion standards.
  • Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
  • Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned.
  • Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
  • Exemplifies hospitality standards.
  • Answers guest's questions about the restaurant.
  • Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
  • Cooperates with management and co-workers to assists others with duties, if needed.
  • Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
  • Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant.
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
  • Knows emergency procedures in the restaurant.
  • Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
