We are looking to hire professional Bar Prep & Commissary Lead to join a restaurant built on craft, hospitality, and excellence. Requirements

  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of DOH Compliancy & Food Safety experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Candidate must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidate with a culinary background is preferred.
  • Candidate has a strong understanding of Foams, infusions, fresh purees, dehydration etc...
  • Candidate is comfortable executing and learning high-level beverage production.
  • Previous bar prep, cocktail production experience in a high-end venue a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee all daily cocktail batching according to recipes and specifications.
  • Prepare fresh garnishes, juices, syrup, and cocktail ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and bar supplies, prior to service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar prep areas, coolers, and storage spaces.
  • Wash and sanitize tools, containers, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and notify management of low stock items.
  • Anticipate needs rather than waiting for service team to identify shortages.
  • Label and date all prepared items following health and safety guidelines, setting.
  • Ensure all prep work is completed before service begins.
  • Support bartenders and management with operational needs.
  • Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned.
